The Lost Key
One sunny morning, Emma was getting ready to leave for school when she realized her house key was missing. She looked everywhere – under the couch, in her backpack, and even inside the fridge – but it was gone.
Just as she was about to give up, her cat Max jumped onto the table and knocked over a flowerpot. Underneath it was the shiny silver key!
Emma laughed and gave Max a big hug. “You're a better detective than I am,” she said, putting the key in her pocket and hurrying out the door.
